Placed ~
Raya is linebred 3-3 on Dino Sylbacher Wald, the sire of WUSV
champion and BSP winner Asko v Lutter.
She is a Garry vom Erlenbusch granddaughter and the daughter
of V Hank vom Sunnenbrink (3X LGA) 2X FCIWORLDS).
Raya is small but mighty and brings an attitude to the training field that puts a smile on the faces of all.
Raya is a special dog that managed to make us laugh at least once a day by her antics but this was never a good placement for her. We knew for her to be all that she could be she needed to be an only dog somewhere with a lot of one on one time.
It took over a year but we finally found it. We retired Raya and placed her with a woman that lives alone in an isolated area. The icing on the cake is that Raya’s new owner also works out of her home and Raya is in dog heaven.
Her new owner spent a month coming to training and working with Raya before she took her home. And once home she continued training. Raya has learned tasks such as when the alarm goes off in the house to immediately find her owner and stay by her side.
I occasionally see Raya driving around town in her new Cadillac and I swear she looks at my truck and smirks.
A very special thanks to Wendy Hines of Common Sense Canine for not only finding the perfect home for Raya but her post placement work.

Comet v. Mathenhaus is out of Raya and has found a very special
place with his Jr. Handler Danielle. Danielle is now 11 years old.
I think Danielle was about 9 the first time she called me on the
phone to ask questions about German Shepherds. I remember
hanging up the phone and telling my husband that I think I just
talked to our first 14 year old.
A very special thanks to John, of K-9 Perfection
He only rolled his eyes once when I told him an 11 year old was
coming to training to get her dog tested!
